UO Second Age

This guide is designed to help you extract and update your UO client with the old UO music and graphics
In order to do this you first must have WINRAR. You can download this from here:

Step one: Open up your program files directory and rename your Ultima Online folder to
Ultima Online.ml. Keep the program files window open. You will need this later.

Step two: Download the UltimaOnlineT2A.5.0.8.3.RAR file from here: http://uo.culler.net/downloads/UltimaOn ... .0.8.3.rar

Step three: Double click the downloaded UltimaOnlineT2A.5.0.8.3.RAR file. WINRAR should open.

Step four: Drag the Ultima Online folder, on the left hand side of the WINRAR program, into the Program files window that you left open in Step one. Now you should have two folders in your C:\Program files
Ultima Online and Ultima Online.ml

Step five: Open the Ultima Online.ml folder and copy the Desktop folder

Step six Open the Ultima Online folder and paste in the Desktop folder

Step seven: Open up razor but DON'T click "Okay" yet. In the "Welcome to Razor!" window locate the "UO Data Directory" section. Click browse on the right hand side. Go to C:\Program Files\Ultima Online and click ok. (The reason you are doing this is because Razor forgot where the client is and needs to be updated.)

Step eight: Click the "Okay" button at the bottom and log into the game.

Step Nine: Log out and click "Exit" on the top right hand corner of the screen. This enables the client to save the settings

Step ten: Log in again and pwn.

Now you will have all the old music and graphics from the past. Enjoy

Kick ass man. I forgot to do this. Luckily I still have the T2a cd hehe. I wish runuo client code was easy enough to mess with to allow t2a clients

This install is from a T2A era CD (mine) patched to 5.0.8.3

Hehe yea but I mean, being able to use like, client 1.24.6 etc

The UO client doesn't work well with multiple installs. f you plan on using the client somewhere else, even on EA servers, just use the latest. It'll work fine here.

But I need an older client than what I have now to get the original music and graphics.

I don't want to run a registry editing training course in here, but this is set up for the install folder c:\Ultima Online
If yours is a different path, edit accordingly.
