I have downloaded the gold edition, updated 1.1 frame network thing for vista and installed razor. About 10-15 min into any session the client just crashes. Anyone having this same problem or offer advice on how to fix?

What client version are you running? If it's 4.0, many have had a lot of success solving many different client issues by patching up to 5.0.8.3, run the "UOAutoPatch.exe" in your client folder.

Or, you can download this nice retro T2A CD install all patched up from http://uo.culler.net/downloads/UltimaOn ... .0.8.3.rar. Just extract it into your existing game directory (overwrite existing files)

I downloaded the file directly from your website the version is 5.0.8.3. I really can't figure out the problem, it always about 10-15 min into a session.

Alex, wassup! Danny is having the same problem w/his laptop. I'm on XP and have only the occasional crash. Have you had any luck trying different versions? I had trouble with the first client link, but got it working with the 2nd link (http://uo.culler.net/downloads/). One thing I did was that I created a totally new directory for UO, rather than just trying to write over the same files.

This could be related then to bad registry entries. It's not recomended to have more than one version of the client installed. If you've downloaded 5.0.8.3.rar and installed next to an ML install, there are registry entries pointing to your ML install even if you are running the T2A client. Put the client that you are running in your Installed folder. Usually c:\Program Files\Ultima Online"

I think this may fix your troubles.

If you want to save your ML install, copy it somewhere else
