recalling around to a set of pre determined locations known to have the rares spawn at them is hardly a rare hunt either.
Unfortunately, most players will not get to take part in the actual search for items, although, as new ones are being added in new people are getting the chance to discover new rares for the first time.

Whyle that is true, there is nothing my generation of players can do about it until derrick totally redoes the spawning rare system.

Its not like i could go searching the world for rares right now if i didnt know where they were, they are all down 99% of the time

While I do not have a macro for rare "hunting," I do recall around, lockpick, and have gotten pretty lucky! My best haul so far was a pot of wax. I've found playing cards, checkers, dirty pans, stacks of ingots, lockpicks, a few fruit baskets, soup/stew, jars, wire, beads, sifters, rp's, etc. Most people that find the rune library's recall around or even make a runebook for their bank, but never return because there is this defeatist mantality found on the server. Keep saying you can't and you won't! I'll say I can, and will!
I think it would be FANTASTIC if there were a whole NEW set of rares/server births released... anyone that says its not era accurate: I say ShawShank never had no fucken silver on chesepeak neither!
