Apparently someone made a fake Fwerp today and scammed someone over a Vesper house while I was out. Do not deal with an unguilded character without confirming with me in IRC. Also, my character has blessed neon sandals -- the impersonator will not.

Basically, confirm that it is me in IRC or the forums first.

Funny you mention that, I remember you asking for newbie clothes awhile back in irc. I said to meet at trinsic gate as I had junk from a char I was gonna delete, this guy shows up and is like "yo, this is fwerp." I give him the clothes, then thank him (thinking its you) for some items I had bought from you previously.

He's like "I never sold you anything." I laughed, not realizing he was on a mission to a grand heist.

How hard is it to join IRC as Ferp...(or whatever your name in there is)

Maybe a PM on the boards or email/icq/etc is more secure.

I'll tell ya...it wasn't a noob because i'm 32 days old on this server and have no idea who fwerp even is lol.

So this community should take a long look at its more active members because it was probably someone you know.

It was obviously someone felix knows. It was probably Roger, Luca Blight, Thug Life or maybe even felix on an alt.

I should also ask, was this trade set up using the forums of IRC? If so, they can be banned for the scam.

I heard it was a char named Fwerp who scammed Fador and then Fador got kicked off the internet.

Grimey told me it was an unguilded char wearing blue and a bear mask.

All I will say, is that if the forums or IRC were used to perpetrate this scam in anyway, the scammers should be banned per the rules. I await Fador's testimony.

It was ironic, which is why I initially didn't care all that much that he got bamboozled.

Then, people in game accused me of being a scammer.
