Anyone know where to find a public black dye tub I can use?

I doubt there is one, since black dye tubs are just normal tubs with a black hue, and anyone could dye it another color. Your best bet is to find someone with one who's willing to dye stuff for you.

Ah okay. I think I played on another server where you couldn't use dyes on locked down tubs.

Unless shit has changed, aren't black dye tubs considered "special" with only 1 charge?

They gave them out at Easter, which are the regular dye tubs hued black.

Arkosh, if you get to know any Vets or ask around in IRC it wont be too hard to find someone with a tub that you could give a couple thousand yards of cloth to and have them dye it black and return it.

Only advanatge of a tub then is being abele to sell black clothes (as you have unlimted black cloth) or being able to dye bags. For the 100K they go for, neither seemed worth it to me.

Anyone know how prolific the black dye tubs are? I mean does more than 50% of the server have em? I know how they were given out, but, were that many people on at that time?

Funny story though: My brother in law was taking a nap while macroin something at the bank. He had his monitor off but left his speakers on for some reason. He was awakened by repeated guardwhacking noises."WTF is goin on" he told me he said out loud as he turned his monitor on, to see piles of corpses around his character. "I dont have anything on me WTF are they doin tryin to kill me?" He moved his character; then opened his bag just to check and saw his black dye tub. He made it back to the bank with 3 or 4 thieves in tow tryin to gank his tub.

Anyway, is it worth it to sell black clothes? Or black cloth?

tubs have been selling for 100-125k or so from what i've seen if that helps ya

Ive got a tub, im just trying to gauge interest in black cloth or clothes dyed black on a vendor. But 100k + for a tub does lead me to believe there isnt many...or at least not many for sale.

problem is can still find people to dye bulk cloth for you for free .. still nice people out there..

aye, roadkill dyed 6k cloth for me since i missed a tub. Since then, I ahh, "acquired" a tub and can be added to the list of people who will dye unlimited amounts of cloth for free. just PM me or look for me in irc
