Yes, tacts still modify damage.

The Archery bonus gives you an advantage over other melee in that it gives you an edge in getting your shot off.

Anatomy provides an additional 20% towards your base damage, also allows you to res (if you have healing) and is crucial to curing poison with bandaids.

Mamo, here is some help understanding how important tactics is to a weapon skill.
http://wiki.uosecondage.com/index.php?title=Tactics

it is basically essential.

100 Tacts will provide 150% bonus to your damage while 100 Anat will provide a bonus of 20%.

On any warrior or weapon yielding mage tactics is a must. Anat is great if you have room for it in your temp and if you have healing it only makes sense bc of the ability to the res/cure and getting a damage bonus.

And don't forget, having a zero in tactics will give you a damage penalty to weapons. I don't remember the scale off hand but I think it was 50% damage at 0.

It starts at 50% damage penalty at ZERO Tactics.

And from that on, it is pretty straight forward. Each 1.0 of tactics, will give you 1% more Damage:

So,

ZERO = 50% Dam. (50% penalty)
50.0 Tactics = 100% Dam. (Normal Damage)
100.0 Tactics = 150% Dam. (50% Bonus)
