UO Second Age

Build me a shard based on the original CD of UO... bugs, gliches and all. No Macroing... no purple potions, no eval, no med.... give me what ive been wanting all this time. A truly era accurate shard based on one Patch and all those changes that came into play before that patch. Do not make any exceptions, do not give in to children that dont know what they are talking about. Do not let 7x's walk around with nothing to do, I believe a character should always be working a skill and Richard Garriot had it right the first time.

There was a shard called Rebirth based on the first era but it's closed. It had a low player population.. not sure why.. it was quite interesting to play.

Rebirth was crap. Again they made it that way originally then added different features. Im talking straight from CD and turn it into a server.

That's what I would like to try.

I am sure there will be 1 or 2 more "Groups" that try to make this Era again, but I sincerely doubt that they won't tamper with it. I am waiting, just not sitting here while doing it. I still post here but don't play here... I know it seems stupid but I actually don't mind this Community.

The very first time it happened I left without letting anyone know... so ya, I did.. but just once. I don't deal with dirty tactics, I play the game for what it was meant.

Hmm, I die all the time in game and I don't rage quit. Course, I also do most of my pvp in Team Fortress 2, lately. Lol.

I don't know how a purple potion is considered a dirty tactic. Using razor macros I could see being a dirty tactic. Having your other two accounts follow your main pk around healing him could be a dirty tactic. But a purple potion? How is that different from an ebolt or explosion spell? Because of mana? O.o

there is nothing dirty about purple pots. i think XaN just played on an OSI server that had a shitty PVP population and didnt know how to take advantage of them so he insists that they are not meant to be. anyone who played chesapeake, catskills, or any of the Japanese shards would have seen purple pots used in PVP. it may not have been a popular tactic due to the fact not many people had a Gm alchemist during t2a , but it did exist.

eh? explo pots are era accurate so what you want is a custom shard built for you.
