UO Second Age

As most of the orgianl players have left here, and we have a new player base and the server is getting more reconized i suggest we do another CUB!!!

Most of the players that are currently playing have not had the chance to do a CUB. So i say we bring it back!!

what do you think??

Good note as well, a tweak to the system making it so any bought or crafted items return zero tickets or far less would be awesome.

I think any items purcahsed or crafted after the cub starts should be void. It would be nice to have another CUB, but theres no way that any announcement should be made about it.

CUB was brought about due to the extremely gross amount of items being horded on the server. You can't tell me any of you want another CUB to clean up your houses...

Being a complete rares whore and pixel junkie i would love to see this, but as has been pointed out, far far too soon after the last one. Maybe next summer/xmas.

I've racked up quite a few items in just the passed few months from farming to be honest, I'm sure quite a few other people have too.

This isn't accurate, people farmed for CUB when they ran it on OSI. Sorry but no tweak. It is however far too soon.

Wait a min... 16 months? where did that number come from. I don't even think the shard was a year old before the first CUB came around.

Right now, there's about 2.3 million items in the world right now. That's quite a few. If CUB is to be revived it should be based upon item count not preservation one ones 2008 CUB item status.

I do agree to Matron to an extent about creating items to trash however, that would be era accurate. CUB is the perfect time to start your Bowyer/Carp mule.

I'm definite item count only continued to grossly increase during CUB. I think it was more added to be a sort of event than anything else.

To my knowledge, CUB was only a one time thing in T2A...so it shouldn't be an annual thing here. I think things like that should only be run once every length of the real T2A era.

There are a couple benefits to holding a CuB. Decreasing item count and encouraging more farming which in turn provides more player interaction out in the wild. If people can just macro crafting all day, it lessens the effect of one of the benefits.

IMO, magical items should be worth far more than non magical items. Perhaps a decrease in the amount of tickets a non magical item yields would be in order.

Also, disallow the use of personal trash barrels for the ticket system.
One at every bank and one at east britain park is good enough.
Make the people who have castles full of junk work for their easy gold.

Yay for tons of dummy chars from multi-clients buying bowls, keys, and other small time items to macro rewards! Just what we need!
