3 Accounts per IP

I was just on irc and many people were bragging about how they had four accounts per comp. With people already complaining about housing and abusing to extraordinary lengths the multi account capabilities I think this should be highly monitored and enforced. Perhaps the deletion of one account and a 15 day ban on the others chosen randomly for those who use more then three accounts.

Agreed, but it can be difficult to monitor. For example, if I go to my parents house I could, in theory, sign up three more accounts as well as log into mine.

Slightly different example...lets say my brother at my parents has three accounts. I take my computer over to play. How do you tell that we aren't cheating with six accounts?

I think if anything, the frequency of the ip 'infringements' could help, but I dunno.

Yes, the poll wording is very biased. You should do more neutral poll options:

"Yes, accounts should be enforced"
"No, accounts should not be enforced"

Your way is like saying,
"Do you want to try one of my home made, delicious cookies? Or would you rather *while making a disgusted face* try one of my sisters?"

I voted for the second option, then I realized we were talking about UO and not our own personal time.

3 accounts per person is strictly enforced. If we find that people are using more than 3 accounts we will randomly deactivate accounts until they are back down to the limit.

If you find someone using more than 3 accounts, please notify us.
