[22:39] *** Will attempt 10 connections with 60 second intervals.
[22:39] *** -irc.wildirc.net- *** Looking up your hostname

[22:40] *** -irc.wildirc.net- *** No ident response
[22:40] *** -irc.wildirc.net- *** Couldn't look up your hostname
[22:40] *** :Pirates.MI.US.WildIRC.Net 451 Ronk Ronk :Register first.
[22:40] *** :Pirates.MI.US.WildIRC.Net 465 Ronk :<piratesscan> :Listed in tor.dnsbl.sectoor.de. (Expires in 3 days.) Visit http://www.sectoor.de/tor.php?ip=97.100.138.3 for removal additionally email Security@WildIRC.Net..
[22:40] *** Error: Closing Link: Ronk by Pirates.MI.US.WildIRC.Net (G-lined)

I emailed the email listed and they were useless, they said follow the link. The link really doesn't help me plus its foreign. Has anyone else encountered this?

Today it worked fine. I didn't do anything beyond sleep all night, so I have no idea what fixed it. Perhaps time, perhaps restarting the computer...

tor.dnsbl.sectoor.de is that a proxy youre trying to use?

irc servers routinely ban proxies when a lot of people are connecting to the same one..... i wouldnt imagine that is a problem on this small irc server but the ban list might come from a 3rd party

Nope, I wasn't trying to use a proxy or do anything fancy. Just tried connecting like I always did.
