Heres the finish up to the mongbat event


8:00 pm est

The Town criers began -->

Sir Dupre needs everyone to Lord Castle, going into the wilderness to find
the long lost mongbat map treasure and our lost treasure hunters.



8:30 pm
--> sir Dupre gave his speach.

'Thank you for coming,
over the past few months we have been sending
our best and bravest treasure hunters
out to find a mythical treasure,
non have been seen again.
We believe this to be the legendary mongbat map!

Unfotunately there is only one person
with the knowledge to decipher this riddle.
He has been locked in the Lords dungeon
for many moons and we were afraid he may have
lost his mind....

fortunately he still has his wits about him.
He has agreed to help us if we allow him
to see the sky one last time.
Be wary, the land has been much safer with him locked away,
we cannot risk his escape.

Lets here what he has to say.'

At this moment the one and only chumbucket was released from the cage.

(Upon being brought forth):

*RUBS EYES*

Ah, yes. I know of this map. I have seen it before.
But I care not. I have been locked away in the dungeons of this castle for many months,
a political prisoner. One day I begin my career as a bard

--a noble calling!--

and the very next I am imprisoned by the tyrant and his thugs.
My only crime is a desire for GLD! I demand that I be released!
I am a political prisoner!

For the sake of the citzenery, I will tell you of the map. I know not
how the map came into existence. I shudder to even think what being would
create something so insidious. But I have seen it. I know what terrors lie in
wait for those who dig it up. The most fearsome evil! The most terrible magics!
It is guarded by beasts fouler than anything found in the most horrible of nightmares.

If you ask it of me, I will take read this map and reveal what terrors lay
in wait at that location. But I will escape! If you let me out of this cage,
I will not be returned to it!


8:40 pm est

A gate opened and we travelled to a lost area of the world. It took a few moments for everyone
to group up again.

chumbucket began to search for the dig site.



8:45 pm est

At last! the moment of truth, the mongbat map will be uncovered!



What happened next was... well, unexplainable..... a thousand armies of the mongbat legion arose to destroy us all!



A great battle ensued! Things were going well until the Mongbat Lord began to lay waste to our party.
Ontop of that our soldiers began turning into mongbats themselves! Things took a turn for the worst.



Many of us were lost in the battle... our healers were tired



Sir Dupris was seen dipping into his flask and then disappeared completely! Drunken coward....



9:45 pm est

When we had finally destroyed the mongbat army and taken the prize back to the Lords Castle
Dupris seemed to find the courage to show up again!

Dupris spoke.

'Thank you citizens for coming to your lords aid.
The fight was long and the reward we believe to be of incredible importance.'

(at this moment chumbucket seemed to be inching towards the back of dupris)

*STEALS RECALL RUNE AND REAGENTS*

'A special seed.
chumbucket could you please explain what this artifact is...'





chumbucket? chumbucket!... great...
Dupris seemed to lose all the color from his face...

'im in trouble now..

Find chumbucket and return him to his rightfull place in the dungeon!!!

(we could all tell this was not the lords order just dupris drunken rant!)



Thanks all for coming, you may be called to arms again!

Im not sure what the special seed is or the mysterious 'ettins cap's that
appeared on the mongbat lords corpses.. but Im sure we will find out in time.
