Trapping chests? And a few other questions.

How does trapping chests work in T2A?

When I trap a chest, does it automatically lock? Or would someone just be able to open it up and BOOM without picking the lock?

Also, if someone dies as a result of opening my chest, do I get a murder count?

And, when someone dies, can I loot them? Or does all their stuff go with them?

Also, I see that corpses are blue. So if I loot a blue corpse (can I even loot a blue corpse?) will I be flagged?

I think you have to lock it with your key
The crafter gets the murder count
I found out the hard way dont' loot a blue corpse unless you want to go grey or get guardwhacked. Only newbie or blessed items remain with the ghost.

You only have to create the trap and place it on a lockable box. The whole "Trap it and then lock it, place it facing a certain way and then unlock/picklock it ect.." Thing was a bug when they tried to nerf tinker traps in UO:R. Here you simply trap it, that is all.

In T2A you did not receive a murder count if you trapped it on the floor of a house that you owned.

This works here, I think most people just choose to take the counts and see how high they can climb on the bounty boards.

It's details like this that makes Derrick's shard amazing.

Is trapping a chest on the floor of a house the tinker owns the only way to not get kill counts?
