I was wondering how stamina works on this shard. Is it setup for era specific yet.
I know maces drain stamina. But I was wondering if running for long periods of time starts to drain stamina and also if you take damage (from any source) when below 50% health you lose stamina. The more hurt you were the more stam you lost.
thx

I don't realize when you run for a long time you start depleting stamina but as you stated you lost stamina as you get damage. I don't know how it actually works but I know that when i got hit with a couple of explosions from dragons I paralyzed among three dragons

You don't lose stamina from running, but yes maces will lower stamina and you will lose stamina after being damages by anything if your health drops too low.

nice I like how you did the damage by anything at low life loses stamina. Any ideas on implementing stamina loss from running? You used to start to lose stam if you ran for long periods of time.

Our lack of stamina loss from running is not accurate to the era. Player feedback on this is welcome. You used to be able to run for quite a while with no loss. Adding this would certainly add an interesting element to the game.

yes you could run for quite awhile. But after a few screens of non stop running you would start to slowly lose a point then would would speed up the further you went. There was some kind of timer with it to. I remember jsut because you stopped running for 5 seconds and started up again you wouldnt lose stamina for a few more screens. Also if you were badly injued and tried to move/ run your stam qwould drop at a considerably fast rate.
Can I also ask where the server is located? I get a really bad Ping from the west coast of Canada. Like 400-500. Sometimes it drops to 75 for a couple ticks

Server is located in Texas. (I believe, Texas sounds right for some reason)
Derrick, if the stamina issue is for people who are running, why not just implement stamina loss on mounts.

Aye. it in in Texas. But we're on a major backbone. We have players from Australia that don't have much of a lag problem.
If we implement stamina loss when running we'll have to implement it for mounts as well.
