RULES

• 1. Players Must decorate a SMALL Box Style house (43k house)
  2. Decoration must consist of only craftable & vendor purchasable items
  3. Each house is allowed 1 "wild card" item {a wild card item can be ANY uo item}
  4. The house deco must not be the same as the first deco contest.
  5. Houses must have an original design (Don't completely copy someone).
  6. All houses must have a screen shot posted in this thread.

All entries will be judged by the members of the $$$ Guild

PRIZES!!

• 1st place winner will receive 75k
  2nd place winner will receive 25k

This event will run until Tuesday June 30th at 8pm EST at that point there will be a day or 2 of judging and the winner will be announced!!!

Actually Blackfoot stole his Design from Beatle Juice, and never received a prize.


Which raises an interesting point we want ORIGINAL Designs, please dont submit houses which have been previously submitted or designs which have been riped from other players, if they can prove their design was copied you will be disqualified,

Kind of a bold statement to say beetlejuice invented shelving.
I hope this eliminates all the fishtanks/flowers/table place settings
standing armours/pianos/folded cloth on beds etc
now well really see what people can do

should only be a problem when similar designs are both entered into the contest.
I dont see any designs slightly similar in the previous contest.

hehe blackfoot, well if I am not mistaken beatlejuice called you out and you admitted to it thats why I mentioned it, otherwise yes, its hard not to replicate one aspect of a design or another in the decorations they are small houses and its a 15 year old game

Aye, I don't see anything wrong with using some unoriginal pieces. It just can't be an entire house copied from another house. I don't think anyone can claim some pieces of deco. Also, you can customize original ideas to your own purpose.

For those that may be new to house deco, I decided to post a couple links about it here:

1. Stratics Homeowner's Guide: On the left menu under Designing and Decorating check out: Decorating, Decorating tips, Decorating ideas, and Step-by-step instructions.

2. Famous Houses of Britannia: Each server has classic famous houses. These are a great start for themes. Just don't completely copy one of these houses.
