former Great Lakes player here, saying hi.

Played on GL back in the day as Sakred and then Logan Grimnar for a bit. I ran with CPT as well as some others from time to time (NaN, OwN, D-I). Battling against the likes of GoD, FS!, D-I, B*C (amongst many many others I'm forgetting [honorable mention for HCM's zerg guild because they were fun to 1v4, forgot their name]) were some of my best memories from any video game.
I've recently fallen victim to UO nostalgia, then I found this shard about 5 days ago and made my account.
I've noticed a few names I recognize, and have had one player recognize me in game. This is quite a pleasant surprise, and it looks like you've all made a nice shard/community here.
Anyway, 6xed [5 days woo] and will be working on my resist and getting a house up tonight. I should be PvPing within a couple more days, can't wait to scrape the rust off.
I don't know anyone on the shard, and have lost contact with most everyone I used to roll with so I might be looking for a new home (small group of players preferable).
Thanks to Shasta for being kind enough to get me started with a full spell book and 7.5k gold. You definitely made my start much smoother.

LOL I'm Sinn de Kabal the guy you para'd and exploded in the glow graveyard that then I later mistaked you for a thief and tried to PK you in town when i saw you permagrey haha. A bit rusty, perhaps.
It's wild that we started this shard at the same time. I haven't even GM'd music yet, so good job.
I was on GL too back in the day, I think I remember your latter name, not Sakred. Was D-I called Divine Intervention? I had been in far too many guilds, D-I wasn't run by DeaDonE was it? He was a good friend of mine.
If you remember a guy named SouLSteaLeR back in the day, that was my main.

Hey was Kreel the lumberjack and Tekai the dragon tamer.
I'm RL Friends with duncun, probably the only person I could mention that you would remember.

I don't think that was me in the Moonglow GY, but I do remember you attacking me in Glow after I recalled in (post corpse looting of one of my alts). How'd that hally taste? =)
D-I = Deadly Intentions.
You haven't GMed any skills yet? Have you been macroing at all? Shouldn't take that long to build most chars/skills if you're doing it right. My hardest problem was getting the $ for reags.

Duncan who hung out with keir ironblood and dracos ironblood? I believe they said they were cousins. I also remember kreel. You hung out at Brit GY right?
As far as I can remember, D-I was run by Elric - great pvpr

Yes, thats correct, and they were cousins =)
his name was chuck.
Yah the brit gy was a lot of fun. I was off killing things with dragons, but when duncun loged in i had to go dexer.
back during the real tank mage era duncun was a tank mage in plate with broken archery. he made the duncan charecter when hally mage came in.
Most of my time in UO at that time with with a guy named Simon, another RL friend doing pve farming and stealing.
I've tried to get both of these two to come back and play, but neither one was interested. Hornswaggler (can't for the life of me remember his osi name) Played for awhyle, but quit a month ago in frustration when luca was griefing my tower.
in the end luca probably just saved me money =p
reguardless its good to have oldschool great lakes players around.

I learned to pvp mostly from dracos ironblood and duncan at the time. Dracos was a tank mage with a q staff. Those were some very fun days.

Chris, the only person to continue wearing full plate throughout his whole UO career. Good guy, was a great pvper pre t2a during the broken archery era. He was my gm, then i was his gm, good times.

I had been macroing, was taking a while to get music and provo up were my main things. Worth it tho as I made tons of gold and I'm now macroing magery hardcore. Things are progressing much better now.
That hally tasted a bit salty, thanks for asking! I'm recovering well, still have a bit of a twitch *twitch**twitch*, and I taste steel if I lift my left foot. Think I should get that looked at?
LOL see you around!
