This topic came up in IRC so i thought why not make a quick thread. Idea is simple how many unique Id's do you think the shard will have between october-december 09.

My bets are on 300 IPs.

im guessing 290 uniques, and 600 clients.

For unique IPs, I'll say somewhere between 300 and 350, realistically.

No one votes, this shard should be top 2 on every voting list but it seems the playerbase doesn't care...it's been that way ever since I got here. Months ago people were estimating we should be near 600 unique ips at this time, but we actually ended up losing some population for a few months there that we seem to be regaining lately.

The future population and longevity of this shard is really up to the players to decide, a game like Ultima Online will only survive through referrals and worth of mouth.

We definitly need more and constant voting for that ...
Just 2 or 3 more votes every day would push the shard in most of the top-lists ...

I could be wrong but last I checked all these vote sites were easy enough to fool and there are plenty of free shell accounts out there to vote off the ip of. so if these sites really matter then it should be easy enough for our (macro community) to place us up number one and keep us there with little effort.
