This isn't an auction, and I didn't snipe it. Nor did the buyer post that your offer was accepted. Therefore, it is perfectly acceptable form for me to enter a quote, just as you did.

Very well, I just assumed it was salesman honor due to the fact that i was phycially working on it.

I'd consider this to be somewhat of a reverse auction, you should either be offering to do it the fastest, the cheapest, or something else that makes your offer special, and hope your offer is accepted for being superior in some way.

I daresay doing something like that would kill my reputation rather quickly.
