UO Second Age

Hey all,

Just curious what's up with this... Had a guy kill my pet in town and he didn't go gray. I'm wondering how this is possible? There was absolutely nothing I could do but sit there and watch it die.

Edit: And it has happened more than once.

Did your pet have Guard command? They go grey if you tell the 'guard me' and anyone can attack them.
