Being a PhD student means I have to do research and stroke professors egos about how great their classes are and how well I'm doing in it. I did my partying the first 6 years in college, now it's stay home and smoke up time. I don't have the luxury of settling for mediocrity in life so I have to give up some things in the short term to be accomplished in the long term
