UO Second Age

Good afternoon,
Does this shard do periodic patches or updates that change major in game dynamics such as nerfing/buffing certain weapon skills? I remember back in the old days the whole thing was pretty fluid, some things like archery were beast mode for a couple weeks or a couple months and then they would put a patch thru that nerfed it and made people go in a different direction. Long winded, just curious if I build a character is he going to be viable for a while or am I looking at redoing things every so often. Thanks!

This server is a recreation of a very specific period in UO. It has been around for some time and in its current state it is already a very good representation of what the game was at that time. With that said, there are not many things left that need tweaking, so it is I think safe to say there is not much chance you'll get surprised a skill will get nerfed/ buffed / unusable.
