Resist for someone just coming back

Good morning,
I just made my first mage. I just realized I will not be able to macro resist/magery in town
What is y'alls best advice for training magery/resist these days? I have read a lot of the other posts but it is hard to tell what is still accurate.

P.S. I completely forgot how awesome this game is!!! So thankful this shard exists, I cannot put into words how much enjoyment getting to play again brings. Thanks to everyone involved for making this possible!

If you prefer to macro yourself, here is a razor macro for using a restock agent, and casting flame strike on yourself (outside of town), assuming you have an alternate character healing you with bandages:
