I have a 7xGM alt mule with 100 mining. ( Smith Mage Bard )
100 str 25 dex 100 int.
Since minig is skill/str/dex based,
Will I get better smelting success chance on higher color ore like valorite,
with 100 dex and str?

Mining will raise strength and dex, but neither has an effect on success or amount of ore etc. you dig up.

Smelting is the same. It'll raise mining, which'll raise dex/str, but neither stat will give you a better chance of success when smelting iron or any other type of ore. People usually have 100str because it means more HP and with a miner it means you can carry more, but its up to you.
