UO Second Age

i have been fightning with a wand to gain mace fighting but now i have runned out of wands.. if i dont have any wands what weapon is the second best for macroing mace?

what are u macroing against? u can use anything on them guards at the guardhouses if u drag em to ur house. They heal themselves up when they get low on HP. If that isn't a viable option, i'd try a regular mace, but it will do more damage than a wand. or get some more crappy wands

A shepherds crook does the next-least amount of damage, about twice what a magic wand does.

In actual T2A, the smithy hammer was the best mace-training weapon. It does not work here, but I know that it is on the to-fix list.
