I note that I will need the agreement of capitalist and confirmation that the 5k is paid to the vendor, and agreement of the vendor as well.

However, may I request that you dictate the closing time/conditions more clearly?
Something like, "Auction will end on X date, at Y time" or, "Auction will end at exactly X hours after last valid bid", would be sufficient, in my opinion.
