I read speculation in the latest issue of the Daily Planet that it's actually Chum pulling a publicity stunt.

Haha who ever this mystery guy is, must really be getting to you. If you wanna try and says it's me cuz I called you a newb and chump after you died then so be it. Last night I awoke in a cold sweat screaming: "WHO IS THIS THIS CHUMPBUCKET? WHO COULD HE BE? WHY MUST HE CALL ME A THIEF!? WHY DOES HE ONLY DRESS IN YELLOW?"
Alas, I will never know, for Derrick will never tell and chumpbucket himself only continues with his taunting refrain: "chumbucket is not a bard he is a thief. PLEASE REVEAL BEFORE AND AFTER YOU GATE!"
Although I am on the verge of quitting the game over this slander, I must admit that it is good advice.
