A bit on hit location suits.
Hit location is a system in-place here on Second Age. This system says that a successful hit lands on certain areas of the body at different percentages.
Chest (hit 44%)
Legs (hit 14%)
Arms (hit 14%)
Head (hit 14%)
Hands (hit 7%)
Neck (hit 7%)
This means that protecting your chest with a plate tunic and the rest of the body with lesser armors would allow for better protection in the area you get hit the most. My Hit Location suits are 31 AR with a -5 dex loss.
