UO Second Age

Yes I know people did not like what happened in late versions of UO. But the bonded mounts was a good idea. You can have a limit on bonded mounts. This would help out newer players by not having to buy a new mount all the time when they die.


Also my next suggestion is adding the houses that was in later versions. the sandstone houses, the log cabin thing and the villas and small towers. Adding this with out the house customization would give a little bit a variety to the game and not seeing the same thing over and over. Either this or gms create some of there own custom houses.

Small tower is the only thing I would selfishly want here. Even if the deed was a 3500 silver reward or something. But then again, I enjoy the same old housing. It's familiar and feels like how it was way back when.

I assume bonded mounts are ones that are basically invulnerable or whatever.

All of these things would give new players the wrong impression of what they wish to maintain here. This isn't a server about variety and convenience for new players.

That said, there are alot of resources available for new players to collect information and learn what this server's goal is all about. (Here on the forums and in irc)

Bonded pets are ressable like people are, and also suffer stat loss when they are resurrected.

Usually between 740-820 depending on a few factors.

Harpies are quite formidable assuming the char is 50 weapon skill 50 healing. Even if they took the time to macro strength and dex up to max and have a few bandages with them.

I would go any undead at any of the half dozen graveyards around the more prominent towns. Could earn that horse in less than 10 minutes with a newbie weapon and the right starting template.

I think once the OP gets used to how things are here, he'll find no use for any "bonded" animal.

Do people not realize horses spawn outside and can be tamed for FREE?

We just need a good ole fashioned mount player merchant at wbb. To see that would be neat.
