UO Second Age

I've got 5k+ cooked fish steaks from raising my Fishing (81.8 so far, getting there), and I decided that any more I get from this point on I'll just give away to random people at the bank (unless it's profitable to sell it). So I keep going around trying to give 300 cooked fish steaks or so to random people, and about 9 out of 10 run away in a panic, like I'm some sort of thief looking to rob them.



I don't look like a thief. I'm not half naked with no shoes. I don't have an Unsavory or Scoundrel title. I'm an honest fisherman trying to reach GM and feed the hungry. PEOPLE ARE STARVING IN ULTIMA AND I'M TRYING TO SAVE THEM!

Quit being paranoid people.

Two of my thief templates are of neutral or positive karma. I purposely dress similar to you sometimes equipping a shield and sword or I'll throw a smithing hammer on em to keep up appearences.
If they are paranoid, it's because I was just there probably a few moments prior picking thru anything lighter than 9 stones and placing it into my possessions for laughs.

I like to randomly give people things at bank, but I'm on a very high fame/karma char. It's nice and even then people are suspicious.. it's uncommon for a person to be nice.. it's more often the hallmark of some sort of thief.

It's not just Brit bank...it's a pretty reliable strategy for UO in general. Maybe if you tried it, you wouldn't have sappy posts being moved to trash talk.

I'm not salty, it's just an observation. When life gives me lemons, I burn lifes house down with the lemons.
