UO Second Age

Fished up 10 MIBs today in about an hour, I thought I'd share some results here. My overall conclusion? Fishing sucks and should be legal to do while AFK. Enjoy!

Time fishing: ~1 hour
Time sorting: ~30 min

Depending on the weapons and jewelry u got, it might not be all that bad. Sell the scrolls and gems to npcs and weapons (if worthy) on forums to make decent gold. Turret farming will always be the best monies or idoc

Agreed. Remember this is still the framework of an ancient rpg. Not every profession was about stacking up wealth as effectively every other activity. Afk fishing for skill gain...ok I can empathize a bit. But for monies?

Ive done probably 2-400 sos's. Here is the cold hard truth. Its fun and a great way to kill some serious time playing uo. You make your money back easily and have a fair chance at getting some serious high end charged wepons/ invis/reflect gear. HOWEVER it takes forever to map all the sos's on automap and forever to sell all the shit to make ur money back. But once thats done its smooth sailing. I turned my archer bots into fisherman and they work great because you can pretty much kill anything that comes your way with two gm archers auto attacking monsters just my two cents I like my healing stealth archer fisherman!

make sure to watch @5minutes when i i.d.

the downside is no jewelry, but the wep yield is higher than anything else in the game.

it doesnt pertain to fishing, but it is a recommendation with an example, that there are better ways to acquire magical weapons in ultima online.

Nearly 30k gold, 10k in gems, 180 magic weapons, and lots of reagents, scrolls, and wands, for 90 minutes of work? That's a payday dude.
