That the second age era had a frost bolt spell that when cast on someone makes it so they cant run.

That is all.

I wish that this server was like it was three or so years ago.

Have you ever played with the spells of a glacial staff? If not, GM a macer with 100 magery, eval, and 100 INT. I'll let you play with it for as many server wars as you want.

Oooo the sounds of a glacial staff, graphics were coo too. Yea like rose said a slow spell and I would love a blind spell that grays the screen. Would be like the weapon bonuses of UOR. Def even the field.

Wow! I played since the Beta and did not know that. Interesting.

I should do a server war and watch. Only problem is work.

Ice Ball – Des Corp Del. Does about 10-15 damage to the target.

Ice Strike – In Corp Del. Drains all your mana in one go and does damage depending on the mana consumed.

Paralyze – An Ex Del. Will temporary freeze your opponent.

I think, at one point, ice strike did damage 1:1 for mana spent. I had one or two on OSI.

I wonder if it would be feasible to create a limited charge item that tosses out blue fireballs and slows your opponent to a walk for a short time. Like a quest item or something?

I'm probably way off base here with era accuracy, but they did have special GM crafted items like that in era. (not frost bolt tho)

Glacial staves with razor are pretty cheap. Before they were removed (spawning disabled) from this server, there was at least one player (name escapes me right now) who would pvp with them, pretty much dropping people left and right because most players had no idea the staves were more than a glowing black staff.

Talk about pink boobi pvp trammel style.
