Lots of places to place a small

patio house!

You'll be hard pressed to find any places to place a house larger than a small unless you attend idoc houses frequently. Usually you can find a patio for sale for a reasonable price above its deed cost. Good luck.

For poop's sake, just buy a placed patio.

Stuff is going for cheap, under 2x deed and such. Like cheaper than the gold you could harvest in the time you spent running around looking for spot.

... or do what i have done:

Buy/place a small somewhere, buy the houses around, then when you have all of 'em and that it let enough place for your patio to be installed , then remove the contugueous smalls and place it. I have done it and got enough place for a castle even it took me some time =).

I think the issue is that the person was not aware of the status quo.
