Re: server empty
Spent waiting where? I just saw 9 people at Brit Bank less than 2 minutes ago. You pink booby style PvP abuser! Also, saw you run by at the GY on my ghost for less than 5 minutes since that's the last time I checked him. You're not there now. There have been 3 people in that 5 minute period, including you. Point: You're a god damn liar

I agree with vega, i think this guy is just a liar. Why would you lie like that?
For the vast most part, everyone who reads these forums plays UOSA.....
So we see how many people are running around on a regular basis

Re: server empty
The server reset 9 minutes before your post and you're well aware of that. Your propaganda and blatant lies are nothing more than a desperate outcry from a half ass player who has now realized that his only recognition in this UO community will come from a detrimental cycle of snarky and dimwitted posts that serve as nothing more than an outcry for attention. I was wrong to call you Ursula. Surprisingly, it's not far fetched to believe that Ursula and Taboo could have had a love child.Denis the Menace wrote:Taboo wrote:I agree with vega, i think this guy is just a liar. Guys. I have been randomly logged in and out at my house for like 10 hours off and on. I have not seen a single person. wtf?

Logged on the past two days and had plenty of gy action. Maybe I just got lucky. The population is definitely down but there still seems to be PvP happening.

Re: server empty
I've been frequenting Britain since January and I've seen plenty of faces; old and new. While activity has dropped considerably since then, there is still a healthy amount of player traffic. The only worrying trend I've noticed is that the players I see talking about having just joined the server often fizzle out after a month or so. You'll see them for a couple of weeks, gradually getting better and better equipment, possibly discussing plans for a future house or guild, generally banking in the same place but changing their hunting grounds as their skills rise. Slowly but surely you notice their names on the screen less and less, until one day you realise you haven't seen them for a week or more.
Naturally this is just speculation based on personal observations, and the players concerned may have simply got tired of the lawlessness of Britain and moved to a different bank. Nevertheless, even if players are leaving there are plenty of others coming in to replace them, I see genuine new characters every other day (I lurk and listen a lot). So aye, I don't think there is a huge problem, but if we could somehow encourage complacent new players to stick around that would be great too.

Re: server empty
Why don't we all just be honest... There's just no worthwhile draw to keep players going. Era accuracy extremism's fruits have ripened. Here on UOSA we are blessed with the best ruleset for uo. However, the lack of anything fun, new, and/or neat leads people to lose interest quickly. I and many others are victims of this. There are a number of fun things that could be implemented, but if they didn't exist in 1999... Well, f that. Numbers and fun are low on the list of priorities for the overlord of UOSA, so it is what it is. It's a real shame.
