Set that Paypal account or whatever to donate $5-10 a month, you probably won't even miss it!

I will subscribe monthly when events come back. No more events? No more donations from me.

The U(O)SA doesn't give in to terrorist demands!
...unless you happen to have an abundance of oil

Id happily donate 10$/month for events. I wont donate a dime until they do something to bring the life back to this place though. thats not a threat, just my own opinion.

*shrugs* I know it doesn't matter probably, but the life bar IS getting low.
That COULD be the plan though.
I've seen it happen before... Owner loses interest, distances from the community, let's the player base drop to a handful, then eventually it hits 0. There is no way to combat loss of interest... Be it players, staff or owners.
I'm curious to see how it plays out.

You see, Boomland, events are not events. Until actual events come back, whatever events are actually held are .... uneventful. So more events, less events.
Surprised the mods don't shut this f*cker down right now, just to spite all the whiners who refuse to recognize the work put into a shard populated by ingrates.

There are events, then there are occasional mob spawns in various colors. Not trying to be ungrateful, but I have every right to fight for the fun... Until I'm banned anyway.

The gems of sosaria actually invoked a lot of action around the server. Pvp, pvm, and some good ol' general griefing of all sorts. If one's main goal was to have a similar set up as in the past for pure pvp, I think one should start with baby steps.
Ask for month long events or something always scheduled on the same time maybe? Focus less on it being no fun unless it involves hally cycling and more on including all playstyles active on the shard. Maybe a mock Richard Garriot dealy in some random dungeon. Was that not fun for all?
That's only if you actually want to see some head way towards your goal. -Now or else- is just occasional venting of frustration. It may steer others away, but it won't ever "beb".
The current active staff are after all...still settling into their positions as official -get dumped on for trying- spokesmen. I believe you gotta ease them into doing your personal bidding.

Ya... You're right. The shrinking stagnant pond will eventually dry up. No point in trying.
