True! Very true! That said...
Adding a reserve and/or buyout makes much more sense to me than having to fall back on reserving the right to alienate the few parties left that hold interest. Even sending a pm asking for alittle more would've been more profitable. Maybe something like....
Regretful seller: hey, I thought there would be alittle more interest. Sorry to ask but is it ok to maybe pay <insert price here>. Otherwise I'd rather just hold onto it till interest rises.

that whole thing just confused me, wasn't it stated from the beginning that it was 24 hours after last bid and capitalist bid before the 24 hours was up? im a bit confused.
