Why doesn't Efreets drop daemon armor bone?, it did prior to 99 but the patch referenced 00 and removed them?

we were told it was changed before that, in truth, i didnt check the patch notes myself. if you can find some patch notes with dates, maybe we can look into it again and get it reversed? i miss people farming there

I reviewed the patch notes which referred to a news article. The link below shows the efreets decription with the daemon armor it dropped in body of the text it says first seen second age.

I am still looking for the exact patch that instituted the additional of the bone armor referenced in the news article that caused the bone armor to be removed.

Not a big deal, would be fun to have that as prize

Daemon bone armor was first seen in early UOR. There is no corresponding patch note regarding its introduction, but the first reports of it's existence can be found on the Stratics news page from October 2000.

The first sighting of the daemon bone armor led me on the search, although they found it in 2000 when was it introduced?

There is no exact date of its introduction that can be linked to a patch note, but like glacial staves that weren't actually introduced via a patch (they were mentioned as a "new item" in a BNN article), all information points to their introduction during early UOR.
