I was wondering if these can be used to block someone casting into my house, if I surround the entire inside perimeter of my tower roof with them. For that- how many would I need? Like........20?

But, the range is shorter to throw a purple potion than cast a spell, isn't it?

Its done with relative target. If its a tower, they will.
