Raising Tactics beyond 97.9

it just seems stuck. i have my skill points turned down so i know that im not sitting on the skill cap. Currently im leveling another weapon skill in hopes of getting gains already raised it to 35 with not a single gain in tactics. any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Your best bet is to use the melee skill you're most proficient at (you'll hit more often, which is required for gaining tactics, and why it's slower) and beat on a fighter/paladin a while. It might take some time to get gains since they need to skill up some as well.

Also, just thought of this, but make sure the skills you have turned down have REAL (base) skill to lose. In Razor go to the skill tab -- you need to go off of BASE skill values. Those are what determines if if you're at your 700 skill-cap or not.
