I've not used IRC in about 15 years, and I already have aim.
Haven't used TeamSpeak before, but I have used Ventrilo alot.

My main character was a fisherman named "Laike". I just back into UO about a week ago and would really like to get back into an RP style player runned town.

Working on placing the stone right now.

I've spent the evening fighting with the provider for the forums. I let myself be seduced by GoDaddy's price and paid for it in full. Cheap is awfully expensive sometimes. Should have stayed with One World Hosting. Finally got the hosting up, but they said 24 hours before I can use it.

So anyway everyone the stone is in place and the Keepers of the Light (KtL) is now a guild. PM me with times you are available to be added to the stone. I'm not available until tomorrow night.

When the forum is up tomorrow we can be a bit more organized about this.

BTW if you have a problem with the guild name let me know. I chose it because some years back on Sonoma it stood for everything we are trying to do.

So far this shard seems to be the biggest one outside of EA's that I've found, as far as amount of people using it. Some of the ones I've seen/heard of have some really outlandish things going on in them that pretty much ruin it for me. I was never into any of my MMORPG's for the PvP, for me it was the RP that made it fun. Like with Star Wars Galaxies, I had a character named Haiden who was part of a player runned town, he was the Minister of Foreign Relations. I would travel the globe finding other player communities and work on getting the communities to interact. Was really cool when my "Rebel" had to check out a "Imperial" town, hehe

I've made my way up to the area. I'll be hanging around as much as possible with only a few runs to town. My current character's name is "Falindore". I am also open to starting a new character if we want to do something like that.
