What happened to my house?

I have a calendar reminder set up, and I log in every wednesday afternoon like clockwork to refresh my house. However, when I logged in this week it was not there.
I used to refresh the house by opening and closing the door.
Has the house policy been changed?

Where was your house located and what size was it? Policy has not be changed, but you're not the only one to fall victim to a 'failure to refresh in a timely manner'.

It was a small house located here:

It's possible the server crashed after you refreshed your house and reverted to a save that happened before you refreshed.

Or its possible your schedule was cutting it to close and you just screwed up.

"Failure to refresh in a timely manner"? Refreshing EVERY WEEK was cutting it too close?
Do people here not bother reading the whole post even when it's 4 sentences?
Or do they just like being asses for laughs?
Oh wait, it's a second age server. I guess I walked right into that one.
Oh well, good riddance. I was sick of this garbage anyway. Stopped playing months ago.

That's all it took? This is a game, thus everything in it should be for laughs. I think "good riddance" is very appropriate here, but only for you.

Cue GK's response:

What did you lose? Did/do you own any other homes?
There's only been one response that you could interpret as a negative one. But for the most part I see posters trying to suggest scenarios in which your house didn't just poof because of a bug. It can be frustrating to lose a lot of what you accumulated and I think if you truly think this was something other than human error, you should pm a gm.

Make sure the house's owner refreshes once in awhile as well, not just co-owners

'Stopped playing months ago.'. That's probably your answer.
If you took my initial reply the wrong way, it may only be because we've recently had the same type of thread pop up about another guy who lost his home, and all the possible reasons why were replied. The only ultimate reason why is when a person fails to refresh their home within the 23+ hours of playable/savable time there is in a day.
While I appreciate your screenshot, and the link to a 'Menage a 3'.. I think your priorities may have been in the wrong 'hand' if you were hoping to keep your home standing.

Just another person trying to undermine the server and "quitting" because of this or that.

Did you login to the specific account that owned the house during the months of your pseudo-inactivity or just a friended character?
