In 2014 it will be the year of the horse, it is known as Wu.

On the eve of New Years, we were forced to fight a mighty Ancient Wyrm that bared the name of 2013. A fitting name for a creature to fight to start the new year.

Today, on the day of 2014, we received message that a fierce beast had invaded Cove. Normally, we would shrug off a threat to cove. No one has cared for this town since the bankers had left it.

A whisper filled the air, saying : "Many trophies await those who face Wu". So, suddenly, everyone began to take up arms and we traveled to Cove. As we entered the town, a messenger arrived and told us to beware. This horse was a trickster.

We took up arms and began to battle the beast. We banded together like a fighting force of brothers of which has never been seen. We defeated the beast.............

No trophy to be seen! The bastard! He must have lured us there to face him with false promises!

The horse rose back up, as if reincarnated with a single purpose; to humiliate and kill each and every one of us.

We would not have it. We were tired, but managed to fight even harder this time. Many had died this time, but we dare not pity them. We slayed this beast, but this time cutting it into meat. We would dine on this monster on this night!

Upon returning home, I had just barely layed my head upon my pillow when a tormenting whisper filled my ear. "This is my year. You will not be rid of me".

I jumped from my slumber. Trophy or no trophy; this has become a responsibility.

The criers screamed that there had been a sighting in Destard. My thoughts were weary at the idea of taking this beast on again, but this time among the dragon's nests that I had trained as a tamer in childhood.

Again, we fought the beast. He took many lives on this day. The other adventurers have become weary of him too. We all battled on. Even a known murderer joined in on the fight. He feared for the future of his land, just the same as we.

The creature fell. Have we killed the trickster for just the third time, or is he gone for good?

Wu was sighted at the Fire Temple. He didn't give me any whispers this time. He was up to something nefarious.

We went to check it out; only to be met by the Terror Guards. A dark, racist, clan of sub-humans. They were aiding Wu in his mysterious quest.

I was not able to get any pictures. The threat level is rising and it had occured to me that the war of 2014 had only begun.




[Side note] The Terror Guards are not really racist. It was an element to make them seem more evil. Please do not get the idea that I think
that TG are all Klan members. Thanks. __

After hours of nonstop death and destruction, wrought by wu and his brigand Terror Guards, Wu was defeated. The Fire Temple may be free of Wu, but the demonic presence will always remain. Wu is getting smarter. No showmanship this time. He simply gained allies and set a devious trap, and we all walked right into it. The only thought going through my head at the time was, "Will we endure this all of the year?"
