Turkey Hunting

Post by The Gods »

Anyone else running around for hours on end and not finding a single turkey? Walk all around cove to vesper to minoc to covetous to yew and nothing. Using tracking also the whole time. I did find one, tracked it down, and was on someones lawn inside thier castle :p Ive killed 2 gem encrusted and 3 reg turkeys in bout 5 hours of looking all together. Do they spawn more around a certain location or what cuz this is crazy hah

There's just so many people hunting them for such a low spawn rate that it seems like there is none. In the mornings, right after server up, i have ran into 10 turkeys in a 10 minute period.

I just make a loop around the Covetous Mountains, then make a run around the Yew/Shame/Xroads area, then go back to my normal farming for a while. I think I'd drive myself crazy if I just focused on finding turkeys nonstop.

I found a turkey in the desert of compassion. An easy kill and very little loot.

However I found a gem encrusted turkey in bloody plains. It was really hard to kill. I took 4 bs and a few explosion and lightening etc. It was extremely fast. But the look was better. 1333 Gold. and a few gems so imho not worth the effort to kill.

You forgot to cut it up to get turkey parts.
