1. This is to be an entirely transparent operation. A forum thread will be opened listing which players own which vendors. And where new wares can be advertised and complaints can be filed by customers against specific player's vendors.
2. Vendors will have to agree by contract to some form of price control. They must also agree to restock with some regularity. (This ensures our customers can reliably get what they want at a fair price every time they come, thus have no need to shop elswhere.)
3. The 6 shops will each be assigned specific wares by category. 1 shop exclusively for regs/scrolls/spellbooks, 1 shop for magic weapons and armor/ 1 for rares / etc. Hence our customers will always know exactly where to go to get what they want, and the vendors therein with have to compete with each other pricewise.
That's my vision. A well organized, transparent vendor mall where customers can reliably restock at fair prices on whatever they need or desire all at one convenient location.
If this is done right, it could be the best shopping center on the map. 6 houses could provide every item in the game, all in one neat row (as opposed to running around Yew).
Yeah avoid all the chaos of Yew shopping, and with price controls and restock agreements you won't be running around everywhere looking through vendors with empty backpacks, only to find what you want finally and not buy it cuz the vendor is price gouging.
Having them all int he same place with also encourage competitive pricing.
Whoever this auction goes to, I just hope it's done like this. I'm not gonna bid again until I hear from Dyne.
Yes, that is the plan, and i'm already going in with a few other guys to purchase these properties so we can try and turn it into a vendor town type of deal. Guardzone, 1 stop shop, always stocked. Should be the best vendor area on the server if done the correct way.
