I hadn't logged onto my account for a while and I logged onto my main and was immediately guard whacked. I had logged off in the tavern in Skara Brae, obviously not red or else I wouldn't have gotten there, and when I logged in I was red. What gives?

Maybe you had killed someone and they didn't drop the kill. You logged off blue, and got the count.

I'm almost sure that I had no kills on that character before so I think getting 5 after logging off was highly unlikely. Oh well.

Is your char a tinker by any chance? Have you made chumboxes?
