I couldn't kill the one I just ran into either, but I was able to steal his 1800 or so gold with my thief!

Don't know what to tell you, there was one up near Yew and when I snooped his bag he had just over 1800 gold and a few reagents.

i remember when i first started playing UO it was around st patty's day. i found a bunch of these guys in despise on the little island (a jwilson were everywhere btw) i dont know what i did with the phat loot though =\ those things turned into pretty rare items on great lakes, no??
