This post confirms it. The forums time stamps are an hour behind the official USA time.

Adjust your timezone in the forum-profile maybe? Not everyone observes daylight saving time.
Edit: This post confirms that my timezone is working properly for me.

Thank you that has fixed the issue. I believe day light savings time was in effect when I signed up; however when it changed in the real world it didn't appear to update on forums.
