Question regarding options for MAC users.

I have read through the posts in the MAC/Linux forum but most of those are 2+ years old and I'm afraid this won't be noticed if I post in there. I went through the forum to figure out my current setup which is through Crossover. That works..to an extent. So far I just have trouble with the UO pointer being kind of glitchy and it's difficult to target. Another issue is opening two razors clients at once. I am able to open 1 razor client, and multi uo-only clients - this isn't a major problem, it just slows down macroing. Right now Crossover works for hunting and macroing but I'm here for pvp. I have trouble with client crashes/freezes.. it's not bad, I always remember UO having this problem. So my question's are..
Does everybody have trouble with client crashing/freezing? I feel like in general it can't be a problem with the amount of stat loss reds I see on the shard..
Does anybody have a recommendation to get Crossover running smoother, or would anybody recommend a better option? I read about VMware but that is around $80.00 and you need to install Windows via disc. Should I just install Windows on a separate partition with Boot Camp? I read people don't like doing this because you have to reboot, that doesn't seem like too big of a deal though - (Am I missing something?)
Specs are
Macbook Pro 2012
2.9GHz dual-core Intel i7
8g Ram
500-750GB (one or the other I can't remember and I'm on work computer. There is plenty of space though)
Thanks. Apologies if I posted this in the wrong area. Also, want to mention this shard is fucking awesome and I appreciate all the action - pk's, looters, griefers, and a lot of very helpful people. Feels like the UO I remember.
