Modifying trade without clearing checkmarks

I'm not sure if this is a bug or working as intended, but if I open a trade with someone, add some gold, they accept the trade and I add some more gold, it does not uncheck their side of the trade.
Possible exploit would be offering someone 2000 gold for something, them checking the box, you adding 50k to it then grabbing the gold when it hits the ground after you complete the trade.
