Would you go 90 wrestling 80 eval maybe? GM resist and 80 in both? I figured sticking close to the pets would help eliminate the need for wrestling just a bit. I always hated seeing players that could have taken an e-bolt and would have fell...and I hated the idea of choosing between vet and eval.
Normally you do little casting unless other players show up, and then you have to decide on whether to fight or flee. This would give you more option to stick around I think. You need to keep your pets healed for max damage and you want to be able to disrupt or kill as well. You just have to know how to be conservative on mana...your primary weapon is your pets first and foremost.

I will never understand why people value the Veterinary skill...
I rate this crappy based on you having more than 0 Vet skill. I suggest dropping it and raising the other skills you have to 100.
Maybe try to do something other than a Mage-tamer, try to work archery in somehow. This is what I may attempt.
Edited for retardation.

I actually value the veterinary skill. It was wonderful for keeping your pets alive while farming in T2A. Unfortunately, there is no competition for dragons/WW's on UOSA so you can pretty much just farm with 50 of them and skip the vet skill. That plus the fact that tamers on UOSA are really nerfed because of a number of things (modern latency comes to mind), and I just don't think it's worth it.
The only thing a tamer is good for on UOSA, is stockpiling a ton of pets to either "dragon bomb" someone, or "farm at LL/EG".

Re: How would you rate this Tamer Build?
Well my friend is actually doing an archery based tamer that will be aiming to roll with trained imps since they seem to cast more then dragons. I think his aim is something like.
Archery
Tactics
Magery 90
Resist 90
Meditation 80
Animal lore 80
Animal Taming
Wrestling 60
(Archery is slow but it can't be reflected so your first shot can hurt and its easier to swarm with trained imps then a dragon army, they are easier to control and don't take up as much space to pass through. Which means more red pots quick! It would also be advantageous to be in the midst of these minute creatures for the same reason. You would position some to stay and command others to kill or guard strategically. Table placing optional. No, it's not an archer bot...but could be lol)
Running with a bazillion dragons is not my style, though I will post some sentry because they are slow. (which makes eval worth it when you are chasing someone into another dragon or leading them to one)

Why don't you trade Meditate for Vet then jump on some GM hiding Dexxer to position while you hunt? Me personally I dont want to tame a bunch of dragons I cant even stable...it's a waste of time...and if I keep them in a house I may as well train them up.Gork wrote:My tamer is the following.
