I think that any keep has 1-2 tiles of safety regardless, per floor. I would imagine a small might extend this by a tile but I am not sure.

No one has ever killed a mare in the middle tile of my keep that I store rides in.

I don't understand the question but...probably? I've been playing UO since 98 or 99 and I still don't know a lot of stuff. I just know there is some era accurate business on here that lets people target underneath castles, towers and keeps.
