Why would you undercut everyone else by that much? With these prices gathering the resources, macroing the kegs and setting up the vendor probably nets you less gold/hour than doing liches with a cheap dexer?

Well, I'm not in it to min/max gold production. If that's all I was here to do then the game gets boring and repetitive. I enjoy coming with new ways to make gold other than dungeon crawling and pking. If I was into this to make gold and nothing else then I would not have any tradesmen and I would just farm. I like interacting with other people and making deals. No I don't make a lot of gold at this but I'm in this to have fun. It may be boring to many but I enjoy it.
To answer Missy B, I don't make them afk. You can make a lot of potion kegs when you have 3 GM alchy's working together at the same time. I took that lesson from the guy that made millions just making scrolls and selling them to NPC vendors.
The main reason I make them this cheap is so that the new player can afford to buy them without having to farm for hours only to find that they can only buy one.

you are selling the kegs way to cheap it cost you way more to make them then you get back by selling them so have fun making no profit

I actually do make a profit at it otherwise I wouldn't do it and I would be broke by now.

I gather ingots and wood myself for kegs so they are free.
Takes 1500 regs to make one keg. Cost of each reg is 3.5 gold
The cost of the bottles is 60 gold (10 bottles per keg at 6pg per bottle)
So, the formula goes something like this: (1500x3.5)+60 = 5310gp
I charge 6000gp per.
Therefore, 6000-5310 = 690Gp profit
Apparently ian doesn't know.
